Accounts Payable/Payroll & Benefits Coordinator

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Coordinator is responsible for preparing and maintaining all accounts payable and petty cash records and reports, other related finance support duties, as well as being responsible for the administration of payroll and employee benefits at Helios Care.

Primary contact delivering special guidance and assistance on payroll matters and employee benefits plans. Develops, recommends and installs approved, new or modified plans and employee benefit policies, and administers existing plans. This position also dotted-line reports to the Human Resources Director.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Accounting/Finance/Benefits or related experience.
  • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel and payroll administration
  • Has a demonstrated knowledge in personal computer skills and the MS Office products (Word and Excel).
  • Experienced with Payroll and HRIS databases.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation to perform job responsibilities.

Full-time

Pay range: $19.00-$20.25 per hour
